About
I am a lifelong guitarist with over 40 years of playing experience, including 35 years of scrutinizing the licks and riffs of the one and only Edward Van Halen. While playing mostly for friends, family and personal satisfaction, I was in an 80's covers band (Vulkan) that shared a stage with Skid Row and Hericane Alice at Iron Fest in Chisholm, MN back in 2013.

A Different Approach
Beginners start by making real music immediately — including playing an actual song in Lesson 1.
Intermediate players learn to move beyond memorization and develop phrasing, feel, creativity, and personal expression.
Music First
Music comes first.
Real progress happens when playing guitar becomes more than memorizing exercises or chasing technique alone. By learning through actual music from the very beginning, students develop intuition, creativity, and a deeper connection to the instrument.
Theory and technique are introduced naturally over time, becoming tools to explain and strengthen what the ear already begins to recognize instinctively.
